Hello all
Now England are out of the world cup :-( we thought we would run our very own I am learning world cup!
We have reset the champions league for penalty shootout. Between now and the end of the world cup, the person who scores the most goals wins a club shirt of their choice!
There is one draw back - we will be checking the activities you have been undertaking and you must also be revising in as many different subjects and topics as possible!
Good luck

We recently received an email from Poltair School in Cornwall, where two year 11 students had enjoyed I am learning so much, they wrote to their teachers!
Here's their reviews below:
www.iamlearning.co.uk is a great site for revision whilst having fun, I think that it will appeal to the whole school and children of all ages, as the games are there for people who want to have fun whilst revising or the solid revision can be done without playing a game, which is good for people in higher years or people doing some quick fire revision. The site is very user friendly and has great star tracking to see your progress and rewards. The ‘My Room’ feature is a good connection between fun and learning and the customisation makes it unique, along with the wide range of revision materials, exam questions and specific subject revision this is a great and useful website. The opportunity to unlock more games with time will encourage people to revise more and longer, these games are fun whilst you cannot progress in them unless you do well in the learning process this is great and helps people to build up their revision. Being able to set homework will encourage teachers to use the site and overall I think it is a great place to revise, learn and have fun.
When I first logged on to the website I had a browse around and got to know things, I then created my own little avatar and decorated my room, I think this is a good feature of the website as it makes it personal and your own. However, I think this feature is mainly suited for younger students. I took a short quiz which resulted in what type of learner I am. It then gave me tips and information about how to revise if I am a certain learner. The website then caters for all types of learners, they have made it modern by adding an iPod and having podcasts for Audio learners. On the revision section I decided to do some GCSE Science Biology, I chose the first activity. This was a rugby game, I think the whole game situation is a good idea as your learning and answering questions and then whether you got it right or wrong will result on how you do in the game. At school a lot of students don’t stick to computer based work and just play games, so this could help as students will be learning whilst they are playing the games. On the website is also a mobile phone which allows you to send and receive messages from the teachers this is a fun and modern way to interact with the teachers. Also there is a calendar which allows teachers to set homework tasks I think this website will be good and I think children will like it due to its modern ways and its not all work you can play games as well.

After a long day of deliberation the I am Learning team has finally chosen the winner of the Iamables Competition.
Firstly a big thank you to every who entered (hundreds and hundreds of you). There were some hugely creative, funny, and downright odd entries, and we had great fun picking a winner.
So without further ado, the winner of the Iamables Competition, and soon to be proud owner of an iPod nano, is May W. a year 9 student from Farnborough School Technology College, Nottingham.

We loved your entry, it's quirky charm won us all over, and we hope you enjoy your iPod, which will be winging it's way to you this week.
Thank you once again to all the entrants, and look for future competitions where you can try again to win great prizes.
